Shmuel Taurog

Shmuel Taurog was born in 1978 and is a lifelong resident of Brooklyn. He has been making art since a young boy, and at his art sessions in the Pure Vision Arts studio creates paintings, drawings and sculptures. Shmuel’s favorite themes are nature and Jewish culture. Before attending PVA, his work had been exhibited at The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and the The Board of Jewish Education. In addition to painting, Shmuel teaches art to adults at the AHRC agency for people with developmental disabilities. Articles about him have been published in the Jewish Week and the Jewish Board of Children and Family Services Newsletter. His works are included in many private collections.
